Alex Pall is one of the top music artists in New York. He is the artist behind Chainsmokers’ popular hits like Save Yourself, Somebody, and Everybody Hates Me. Besides music production, Pall is a skilled pianist and songwriter.

How did he manage to sail from a less experienced artist to a famous performer valued by millions of music fans? Following is a comprehensive overview of his career. It will help you understand how Alex Pall sailed to the industry’s top tier.

How did Alex Pall start his music career?

According to an interview posted on interviewmagazine.com, Pall started his music career as a DJ working under the management of Adam Albert. Later on, the manager acquainted him with Drew Taggart, a like-minded artist. The duo partnered to establish ChainSmokers, a renowned brand that specializes in dance music.

What encouraged the two young artists to start working together?

Alex Pall says that he was encouraged to work with Taggart since the two had the same core values. Just like Pall, Taggart had an inclined passion for dancing music and substantial experience in music production and marketing. Pall stated that they started working the next day after their meeting.

What makes Alex Pall’s Chainsmokers unique from competitors?

Unlike their competitors who depend on songwriters, Pall and Taggart write the lyrics of their song rather than engaging somebody else. It is the primary quality that makes them different from their competitors.

“We create lyrics for ourselves. It is the reason why our fans find them exciting, and emotionally connecting,” Pall confided.

Who is Alex Pall’s Role Model?

The Chainsmokers Music Reaches Different Ages Across the Globe

The Chainsmokers is a New York based EDM group that has been making music since 2012. This group has some great hits to their credit. Some of their biggest jams include Don’t Let Me Down, Closer and Paris. When the Chainsmokers make their music, they usually create their sound for audiences who are closer to their own age. However, their music is impacting different age groups and it is a part of the global emergence of EDM music.

Alex Paul and Andrew Taggart make up the duo known as Chainsmokers. Both men have been making music since they were in their mid-teens. They love the EDM sound and they work hard to get this sound out to the masses. Alex Paul revealed in an interview that the group’s music has become internationally known. People all over the globe love their sound. Chainsmokers music can be heard in America, Canada, France and Britain. It is also being played in unlikely places such as South Africa and Thailand. Paul says that he is happy that his music is able to reach music fans on the other side of the world. He also states that he did not expect his music to reach so many different people in foreign places.

Paul and Taggart are used to playing their music for European audiences. African and Asian music fans tend to stick to their own stars and entertainers. The Chainsmokers are grateful for being able to break into these markets. Paul said that social media platforms such as Instagram helps to keep the group informed about who they are reaching in other areas of the world. The Chainsmokers music is being praised by different people from different age groups. Little kids love their music and older people love it as well. The music that the Chainsmokers produces is for young people between the ages of 15 to 35.
However, 6-year-old kids are singing their songs and some senior adults are caught up in their music as well. Alex Paul even stated that his mom hums his music while she is moving about her home. He knows that when people get to singing (or humming) music its because they cannot get it off their mind. The Chainsmokers have impacted many people’s lives with their great sound.

In the world of EDM, The Chainsmokers are undoubtedly one of the top dogs. Theirs is a unique combination of pop, synth, dance and all around strangeness (in a good way, of course!) The duo, consisting of Alex Pall and Anddrew Taggart, has a list of awards and accolades so long that it would be tiresome to the reader were I to name them all. But, some of the more notable awards include a Grammy Award for best dance recording and several American Music Awards.

On April 19, they released a new single called “Somebody”, which has been very well received. So well received, in fact, that they have decided to make a “behind the scenes” video to show the process of making this latest single. Billboard was given a sneak peek at the work that has thus far been completed, but for now the rest of us will have to make do with a short video posted on April 24 that can only be called a teaser trailer.

As such, it does a good job of showing you the project without giving away too much. It begins with Andrew Taggart casually monkeying around with what looks to be a very nice keyboard. The tune is dark and somber, with a sound effect that I would describe as a deep-bass buzz. Then it cuts to some footage of Alex Pall playing a much more cheerful tune on a traditional piano. Then, the scene cuts again to some footage of Taggart happily playing with his phone before turning toward a table full of musical equipment and commencing what looks like some creative editing. We can definitely tell that he enjoys his work….but there’s still a lot left to the imagination. One little fun fact about this song: a part of the vocals was actually taken from another song. This is why the pitch was changed.

Since entering the music scene in 2012 and making their first big performance a couple years later, this band has been on the rise for some time. There is little doubt that they will continue that rise for a long time to come.
